Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2013-2014)

Between July 2013 and May 2014 I worked on The Force Awakens in the Art Department as the concept model maker working on vehicles and then in Costume FX as a costume prop maker working mainly on droids. Here is a selection of already published photos of some of the projects I worked on during my 10 months on the movie. All images are copyright Lucasfilm and/or Disney.

Crashed Special Forces TIE Fighter Art Department model (1/24)
This was a very quick project made from a converted Hasbro TIE fighter toy, detailed with kit parts and koolshade.

First Order Landing Craft Art Department model (1/48)
Hand-made in chemiwood and styrene. Detailed with kit parts.

T-70 X-Wing Art Department model (1/24)
Hand-made in chemiwood and styrene. Detailed with kit parts.

ME-8D9 droid costume for Costume FX Department
The patterns for this were hand sculpted in polyurethane foam. These were then vac-formed and detailed with found parts.
