Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2014 - 2015)

Between November 2014 and September 2015 I worked on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story in the Art Department as the concept model maker working on vehicles and then in Costume FX as a costume prop maker working on various imperial troopers, Forest Whitaker's armour and some droids (old and new). Here is a selection of already published photos of some of the projects I worked on during my 10 months on the movie. All images are copyright Lucasfilm and/or Disney.

L1 droid costume
Vacformed in styrene with metal and resin details and a rubber and neoprene undersuit, this was a costume made for a
featured character that later became a deep background droid.

Saw Gerrera armour
Fibreglass armour cast from vac formed patterns made over polyurethane foam tooling. Detailed with found parts.

RA-7 (Death Star Droid)
The head was vacformed in styrene over a polyurethane foam sculpt.

The new (old) Stormtroopers
Mostly 3D printed, but some parts were bench made and vacuum cast in polyurethane.

The Shoretrooper
Mostly 3D printed, but some parts were bench made and vacuum cast in polyurethane.
